Returnable beverage crates are highly durable. Even under the most rigorous manipulation procedures, they last for decades, and when the crates finally reach the end of their life, they immediately start their next life by being reground and turned into new crates. The regrinding process is done without adding water or chemical additives.
This process can be repeated endlessly, effectively decoupling packaging production from raw material consumption.
Even the regrinding process at the end of each life cycle is designed to reduce emissions. Producing new plastic form recycled materials uses only two-thirds of the energy required to manufacture it from virgin materials.
We can make beverage crates from post-consumer material, with the same rigidity specifications as crates made from virgin material.
