DW Reusables Joins Circular Plastics Alliance

6 March 2025

Bilzen, Belgium – March 6, 2025

DW Reusables, a leader in reusable packaging solutions, is pleased to announce its membership in the Circular Plastics Alliance. This collaboration underscores our commitment to advancing the circular economy and promoting sustainable practices within the plastics industry.

Our dedication to sustainability has been recognized with the Limburg Climate Award, reflecting our ongoing efforts to innovate and reduce environmental impact. Initiatives such as the development of a reusable six-pack and our alignment with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) demonstrate our proactive approach to environmental stewardship. We have set ambitious reduction targets for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, aiming for significant CO₂ reductions by 2030.

Operating within a closed-loop system, DW Reusables ensures that used beverage crates are recycled into new products after multiple use cycles. We also repurpose production scrap and actively minimize traditional waste streams, achieving a zero-landfill status that highlights our strong sustainability focus.

Through our participation in the Circular Plastics Alliance, we aim to showcase the added value of reusable packaging and contribute to innovative solutions like the FECT box. By sharing our expertise and best practices in circular processes, we aspire to help other members operate more efficiently and environmentally friendly. Collaborative efforts within the alliance are expected to create a collective impact, accelerating the transition to a more sustainable future for the entire supply chain.
